Zinwell Direct TV Wb68 Mutiswitch 6x8

I have used this multiswitch in a couple different installations with my DirecTV and it has always performed flawlessly. I can't speak to its reliability when installed outdoors, as I have always used it in the attic, but it has endured in spite of the temperature and humidity extremes up there. The "feel" of it is solid and gives the impression of a quality product. A nice feature is that it comes with caps to go over the unused ports to keep dust and moisture out, so if I ever need to add another cable run, there will be a clean reliable connection. This multiswitch is a must if you have a DVR and need to run 2 cables to the box. It is also much superior to a standard splitter on single-cable runs too. Fosmon HD1896A 3-Port Compact HDMI Switch

Handy device, and price was right. Having all ports on different sides might be convenient for some, but it initially made my cable setup kind of awkward. Not necessarily a negative, just make sure you know what you're getting. Intelligent switching works fine so far, but doesn't work exactly as depicted. I've noticed that *this* is the behavior I've seen on all intelligent switching devices. when new device powers on, switch to new device. Call new device "B", and previous channel "A". when device B switches off, return to A. So, if in theory, you powered on input A, then B, then C, then powered off A, then powered off C, it would end up on A, which was off. Not ideal, but pretty unlikely to happen. DISH Network 185834 Solo Node For Hopper/Joey

Already had Dish TV so was merely doing and upgrade. Had studied the setup procedures and sequences in which to do the setup. Saved a bundle on the DIY and I own it. Absolutely best DIY every attempted. Even my local electronic store says there Dish installer took more than 5 hour in their first attempt to go through setup. CON is no instruction for setup come with unit but info is available online. Used online videos is highly suggested for a smooth upgrade and first attempt success like myself.
